What To Know
Corey has been in the Insurance industry for 16 years. He has been fortunate to have spent all those years helping clients and leading sales organizations in the Individual and small group Life, Accident, and Health space. Corey earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Management as well as a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Vermont in 2002.
After graduating, Corey decided to bypass the engineering field to enter the insurance industry. Corey joined a leading national Health Insurance brokerage. In his first three years, he produced over 3 million in Annual Volume earning him President’s Club recognition in each of those years. Corey was promoted to management in 2004 and was responsible for all recruiting, training, and motivating of the sales organization in New Hampshire and Southern Maine. His organization was fortunate to rank in the top 3 nationally in 2008, 2009, and 2010. Corey surpassed $40 million in career sales volume.
After the implementation of the ACA, Corey decided to start his own independent firm in Bedford, NH. He founded The Gelinas Group to be entirely independent and to have to best solutions for his clients, not just the solutions of one carrier. While running his independent firm Corey accepted an offer from CHUBB to be their Market Director for New Hampshire and Vermont.
Corey has joined DMI as it is a perfect combination of what he has excelled at in the past. “I am able to help other advisors reach their goals, but I am able to do it independently with access to all carriers. Corey has a daughter, Madison who just turned 7 years old and is going into second grade. When not helping advisors, Corey enjoys attending Maddie’s gymnastics events, spending time with family and enjoys both playing and watching sports as a big Boston sports fan.
